## Stat block

A wolf the size of a horse, grey to the roots of its teeth, that the castle keeps for its own hunts: bites that knock you down, a howl that empties your nerve, and one more bite whenever you think you've stepped clear.

### Traits

- **Pack Tactics.** Old Greytooth has Advantage on an attack roll against a creature when at least one of its allies is within 5 feet of that creature and that ally doesn't have the Incapacitated condition.
- **Legendary Resistance (2/Day).** When Old Greytooth fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead, twice a day.

### Actions

- **Multiattack.** Old Greytooth makes two Bite attacks.
- **Bite.** Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) Piercing damage. If the target is Large or smaller, it has the Prone condition.
- **Howl of the Castle Hills.** Each creature within 30 feet of Old Greytooth that isn't a Beast makes a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. Failure: the target has the Frightened condition until the start of Old Greytooth's next turn.
