The ash of Wintersplinter, gathered back up round a new tree on the burned crown of Yester Hill: a shape twice a man's height of packed grey ash and charcoal, with a young green tree for a spine. Fire did its work on this once; now it does nothing. Its fists reach, its ash chokes and blinds, and it gathers itself again unless the cold gets at it.

Traits
Legendary Resistance (2/Day). When the Ash Effigy fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead, twice a day.
Regeneration. The Ash Effigy regains 10 Hit Points at the start of each of its turns. If it takes Cold damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of its next turn. The ash only gathers again where it's warm.
Burned Once. The Ash Effigy is the ash of Wintersplinter gathered round a new heart. It has Immunity to Fire damage, and cold makes the ash clot and fall.
Actions
Multiattack. The Ash Effigy makes two Ash Fist attacks.
Choking Ash. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 16, each creature in a 30-foot Cone. Failure: 22 (5d8) Necrotic damage, and the target has the Blinded condition until the end of the Ash Effigy's next turn. Success: Half damage only.
