A great canvas in a gilt frame: a young woman in a white gown, painted as no living painter could paint her, from a dead man's memory. It's an eye of the castle. Her look burns, her frame swings like a door, and the count speaks through her mouth.
Legendary Resistance (2/Day). When the Likeness fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead, twice a day.
The Count's Eye. The Likeness is an eye of Castle Ravenloft: what the woman in it looks at, the count sees, and he can speak through her mouth. Every portrait Haralamb painted from it does the same, until it burns.
Actions
Multiattack. The Likeness uses The Count's Regard or casts a spell, and makes one Frame Strike.
The Count's Regard. Wisdom Saving Throw: DC 16, one creature the Likeness can see within 60 feet. Failure: 27 (5d10) Psychic damage, and the target has the Frightened condition until the end of the Likeness's next turn. Success: Half damage only.
Spellcasting. The Likeness casts one of the following spells, using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 16): once a day each, Hypnotic Pattern and Hold Person.
