## Overview

A dry stone vault under the statue on the mound, where the girl Strahd loved in Berez lies on a bier as if asleep, with his candles burning at her head and his roses at her feet.

A stair under the plinth comes down into one square room cut from the rock. The marsh is all around it and not a drop has got in.
