# Castle Ravenloft, the Larders of Ill Omen

## Overview

Below the main floor: the servants' hall, the kitchen where Cyrus Belview still cooks for his Master's guests, the larder, the wine cellar with one bricked-over rack, the guardroom of a watch nobody relieved, the lift winch, and the jailers' stair down to the dungeon and on to the crypts.

Low vaulted passages smelling of smoke, onions and something under the onions. A kitchen fire is the only warm thing for a hundred feet in any direction.
