## Overview

A long stone balcony on the castle's flank, with a low parapet and then nothing for a thousand feet. The whole valley lies below it. Strahd comes here to look at what he owns.

A terrace of worn flagstones along the keep's wall. Past the parapet, the cliff falls away into mist, and the valley spreads out under it: the forest, the river, the lights of the village.

**Resting:** no Nobody sleeps on a ledge over a thousand feet of nothing, under his windows.
