## Overview

The vaulted cellar under Argynvostholt's servants' hall, where the Order counted the dragon's winter tithe: drifts of old silver against the pillars, the empty harness of the tithe escort round the walls, and the tithe-keeper on the chest at the far end (The Silver Hoard, docs/story/side_quests.md).

A low vault under the house, colder than the house. Silver lies in drifts against the pillars like snow against fence posts, and somewhere at the far end, in the dark, somebody is counting.

**Resting:** Risky: a rest here can be interrupted.

## What to find

The containers here also get random magic items and potions, rolled for a party of level 8 the first time you come ([Random Treasure](https://curseofstrahd.app/wiki/items/random-treasure.md)). Hidden finds need a Search (F) nearby; the party's best roll counts.
