## About

Clovin's mother, carried up the mountain as a baby with the coughing sickness sixty years ago and improved nine times since: a cat's eyes, a heron's legs, and a pair of great grey wings the Abbot stitched shut with silver wire. She sits in the darkest corner of the wards kitchen.
