## Journal

> [!quote]- Every journal entry and hint
> **Asked**: Ireena asked us to bring her the truth about the face she wears. She wants to hear what the vampire wrote about himself, and about anything else in the valley made in her likeness.
> *Hint:* Find the vampire's own book, and look in Berez for a monument with Ireena's face. Then speak with her at the Blue Water Inn or St. Andral's in Vallaki, or in Krezk.
>
> **Tome Read**: We read the Tome of Strahd aloud to Ireena so she could hear the vampire's own words. She still wants to know if anything else in the valley wears her face.
> *Hint:* Look in Berez for a monument with Ireena's face, then speak with her at the Blue Water Inn or St. Andral's in Vallaki, or in Krezk.
>
> **Statue Told**: We told Ireena about the stone statue in Berez that was carved with her face. She still wants to hear the vampire's own account from his book.
> *Hint:* Find the vampire's own book and bring it to Ireena at the Blue Water Inn or St. Andral's in Vallaki, or in Krezk.
>
> **Knows** (the end: success): Ireena has heard the vampire's own account from his book and learned of the statue in Berez. She knows whose face she wears now, and whose life is her own.
