Overview
A bald hill west of the vineyards, heaped over old graves, that the druids have made their holy place: a camp of painted wild men on its shoulder, wicker cages, a hidden gully up the west flank, and a path to the crown where the tree grows.
The hill rises out of the moor with almost nothing growing on it, as if the grass knew better. Low mounds ring its foot, old graves with no stones. Smoke rises from a camp on its shoulder, and from the crown comes a sound like many people humming one long note.
Resting: no Not on this hill. The ground hums under you, and something on the crown is listening for sleepers.
